A BRIEF HISTORY

Simpro was founded in 1986 in Brandizzo and it gained its first certification from the Quality System right in 1995. One year later it opened its new design departement and, in that year, Mec-Ind S.p.A. started its activity, always in Brandizzo, in two brand new buildings.

In 1997 Simpro achieved the ISO 14001 certification from the Environmental Management System and, in addition to this, Simpro do Brasil was founded. In the same year Simpro took over Somel S.p.A., located in the territory of Alto Canavese. In 1998 the EMAS registration was obtained. In 2001 a new factory, located in Termoli, started its activities focused on the industry of Central and Southern Italy. In 2003 Mec-Ind was taken over.

Today Simpro Group, in order to cope with the market requirements, is going on with the development and globalization process by entering into new partnerships and alliances in several parts of the world.
